Bamboo Farm Demonstration and Training Facility
This project was started in the September, 2011 with a one-time fund support of Rs.16.84 from the National Mission on Bamboo Applications (NMBA), New Delhi and regular yearly support of IFCI Limited under its CSR initiative. The bamboo farm having about 1800 units of various species like, Strictus, Balcooa, Nutan, Asper, Vulgris (Green), Tulda, etc is spread over in 10 acres of land. The asset was created with the aim of optimally utilizing the available land and putting it into some constructive use.
